PCBA is excited to launch our new Friday Local Competition, designed to provide a structured, competitive and enjoyable basketball environment for players across multiple age groups. This competition supports both player development and competitive pathways, while creating a strong and vibrant Friday night basketball atmosphere within the PCBA community.
PCBA is excited to launch our new Rivals League, a 4v4 league all about creating a fun, fast-paced environment where players can build confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy the game. With more touches, more involvement, and a supportive girls-only setting, it’s the perfect competition for players of all levels to learn, compete, and love basketball.
Competition Day: Fridays
Season Start Date: Friday, 24 April
Game Times: Games will be scheduled between 4:30pm and 9:40pm tip-off
To ensure balanced competition while allowing representative athletes to participate in their local teams, the following eligibility rules apply for Division 1 and Division 2 in the Boys competitions (U12, U14, U16):

These guidelines help maintain fair competition while supporting player development and club participation.
The following divisions will be offered within the Friday competition:
Girls Divisions
Under 12 Girls
Under 14 Girls
Under 16 Girls
Where required, divisions will be graded to ensure fair and competitive games across all age groups.
Season Length: 15 weeks
Includes regular season games and finals.
The finals series will determine the champions in each division and provide an exciting finish to the season.
Rival League: $1,995 per team for the season
This fee covers:
Clubs that enter four (4) or more teams into the competition will receive a discounted entry rate.
This initiative is designed to encourage strong club participation and support the continued growth of the PCBA local competition.
