Competition Information Guide

PCBA is excited to launch our new Sunday Senior Competition, designed to provide a structured, competitive and enjoyable basketball environment for players across multiple age groups. This competition supports both player development and competitive pathways, while creating a strong and vibrant Sunday night basketball atmosphere within the PCBA community.

Competition Overview

Competition Day: Sunday
Season Start Date: Sunday, 31 May
Game Times: Games will be scheduled between 6pm and 9:20pm tip-off

The competition has been designed to provide opportunities for players across multiple age groups, ensuring balanced matchups and strong development opportunities.

Game Format

  • 2 x 20-minute halves (running clock)
  • Final 2 minutes fully timed if the score margin is within 10 points
  • 1 timeout per team per half
  • Fixtures will be scheduled to maximise fair playing opportunities and player development.

Age Divisions

The following divisions will be offered within the Sunday Senior competition:

Mixed Division
18+

Young Guns Divisions
17-25 years old

Mens
18+

Womens
18+

Season Structure

  • Season Length: 15 weeks

  • Includes regular season games and finals.

The finals series will determine the champions in each division and provide an exciting finish to the season.

Team Entry Fees

Team Entry Fee: $2,450 per team for the season

This fee covers:

  • Competition administration
  • Venue hire
  • Game officials
  • Competition management and scheduling
